1. Open Access Statement
IRASS Publisher is committed to providing immediate, free, and unrestricted online access to the scholarly research published in its journals.
All scholarly articles published by IRASS are made freely available online upon official publication, without subscription fees, access charges, or registration requirements for readers.
IRASS considers Open Access an essential component of effective scholarly communication and aims to make published research accessible to researchers, academics, students, institutions, policymakers, and the wider international research community.
2. Immediate and Free Access
IRASS journals follow an immediate Open Access model.
Accordingly:
• Published scholarly articles are freely accessible online.
• Readers are not required to purchase a subscription.
• No payment is required to read or download published articles.
• Published articles are available immediately upon publication.
• No access embargo is applied to published scholarly articles.
• Full-text articles are made available through the official journal website.
• Published content remains accessible after publication, subject to legitimate editorial, legal, or technical requirements.
IRASS does not operate a subscription barrier for access to its published scholarly articles.
3. Open Access Licence
Published scholarly works are made available under an open Creative Commons licence.
Unless otherwise stated, articles published by IRASS Publisher are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
This licence permits users to access, share, copy, distribute, and adapt the published work for permitted non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the applicable Creative Commons licence and appropriate attribution.
The applicable licence information is clearly identified on the journal website and/or within the published article.
4. Author Access and Sharing
IRASS supports the broad dissemination of scholarly research.
Authors may share their published research in accordance with the applicable publication agreement and CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, including through appropriate:
• Institutional repositories
• Subject repositories
• Personal academic webpages
• Institutional webpages
• Academic presentations
• Teaching and research activities
• Scholarly communication platforms
When sharing published work, authors are encouraged to provide the appropriate citation and, where possible, a link to the official IRASS version of record.
5. Peer Review and Open Access
Open Access publication does not affect the academic evaluation or peer-review process.
IRASS journals apply the peer-review procedures stated on their respective journal websites.
Editorial and peer-review decisions are based on the academic and scholarly merits of a manuscript, including its relevance, originality, methodological quality, clarity, and contribution to the field.
Publication charges, where applicable, do not guarantee acceptance.
The payment or non-payment of an Article Processing Charge does not determine the academic outcome of peer review.
The description of the journal's peer-review process is publicly available to authors, reviewers, readers, and other interested parties.
6. Editorial Independence
IRASS maintains editorial independence in the evaluation and publication of scholarly manuscripts.
Editorial decisions are expected to remain independent of:
• Author nationality
• Institutional affiliation
• Geographic location
• Personal background
• Financial circumstances
• Ability or willingness to pay publication charges
Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic quality and integrity of the journal within its stated aims and scope.
Where conflicts of interest arise, they should be disclosed and managed appropriately.
7. Article Processing Charges and Financial Transparency
IRASS Publisher operates an Open Access publishing model supported, where applicable, by Article Processing Charges (APCs).
The applicable standard publication charge is:
• International Authors: USD 100 per article
• Indian Authors: INR 5,000 per article
The standard publication charge applies to accepted manuscripts and covers the applicable publication and processing services associated with the standard publication process.
Fast Track Publication
Authors who require expedited publication may request the Fast Track Publication service, subject to editorial and production availability.
The Fast Track charge is:
• International Authors: USD 150
• Indian Authors: Additional INR 8,000
The Fast Track charge is in addition to the applicable standard publication charge. Fast Track processing does not alter the journal's peer-review requirements or guarantee manuscript acceptance.
Financial Transparency
IRASS Publisher is committed to transparent communication of publication charges.
Accordingly:
• Applicable publication charges are publicly disclosed on the official IRASS Publisher website.
• Authors are informed of the applicable charges before proceeding with publication.
• Payment of an APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.
• APC payment does not determine the outcome of peer review.
• Editorial decisions are made independently of payment processing.
• Fast Track publication does not bypass the journal's applicable editorial and peer-review requirements.
• Any applicable discount, waiver, or special publication arrangement is subject to its stated eligibility or conditions.
• Authors should not be required to pay undisclosed mandatory publication charges.

8. Accessibility of Published Content
IRASS seeks to ensure that its published scholarly content is easily accessible to the international academic community.
The official journal website should provide clear access to:
• Journal information
• Published issues
• Individual articles
• Article abstracts
• Full-text articles
• Author information
• Publication dates
• DOI or persistent identifier, where applicable
• Licensing information
• Citation and bibliographic information
IRASS also aims to maintain stable online access to previously published content.
9. Digital Preservation
IRASS recognizes the importance of preserving the scholarly record beyond the date of publication.
The publisher maintains appropriate digital storage, backup, preservation, and archiving practices to support the continuing availability of published research.
Where appropriate and technically available, IRASS may use recognized digital preservation, repository, DOI, metadata, or archival services to support long-term access to published content.
10. Metadata and Discoverability
IRASS is committed to providing accurate and structured bibliographic information for its published articles.
Article metadata may include:
• Article title
• Author names
• Author affiliations
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Journal title
• Volume
• Issue
• Publication date
• Page numbers or article identifier
• DOI or persistent identifier, where applicable
• References
• Licensing information
IRASS may make appropriate article metadata available to scholarly discovery, abstracting, indexing, repository, DOI, and metadata services in accordance with their respective requirements.
The publisher seeks to maintain accurate, consistent, and discoverable bibliographic information across its online publishing platforms.
11. International Accessibility and Scholarly Communication
IRASS aims to serve an international scholarly audience.
The publisher seeks to ensure that journal websites and published content provide clear information that can be understood and accessed by researchers internationally.
Where applicable, article titles and abstracts are provided in English to support international discoverability and scholarly communication.
IRASS encourages participation from researchers and scholars from different countries, institutions, disciplines, and academic backgrounds, subject to the scope and policies of each journal.
12. Publication Ethics and Responsible Open Access
IRASS considers Open Access publishing inseparable from responsible scholarly publishing.
The publisher maintains publicly available policies addressing publication ethics and malpractice, including matters such as:
• Plagiarism
• Duplicate or redundant publication
• Authorship
• Conflicts of interest
• Research misconduct
• Peer-review integrity
• Corrections
• Retractions
• Expressions of concern
• Editorial complaints
Authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher are expected to contribute to maintaining research integrity and responsible scholarly communication.
13. Corrections and Retractions
Open Access does not prevent the correction or retraction of published scholarly content when necessary.
Where an article requires correction, retraction, or another formal editorial action, IRASS will follow the applicable editorial and publication-ethics procedures.
Where possible, the original publication record will remain identifiable and the relevant correction or editorial notice will be clearly associated with the affected article.
This approach is intended to maintain transparency and protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
14. Transparency of Journal Information
IRASS is committed to maintaining clear and publicly accessible information about its journals.
The official journal website should clearly provide, as applicable:

IRASS seeks to ensure that information presented to authors, reviewers, readers, institutions, and scholarly organizations is accurate, current, consistent, and transparent.
15. Indexing and Abstracting Transparency
Indexing, Abstracting and DOI
IRASS journals are registered with the relevant ISSN authorities. They may be discoverable through scholarly search, repository, abstracting, and indexing services, subject to the policies and coverage criteria of each service.
Our journals are visible on services and platforms such as Google Scholar, ESJI, IIFS, International Scientific Indexing (ISI), Asian Science Citation Index (ASCI), and EuroPub, where applicable.
IRASS Publisher may submit eligible journals for consideration by recognized scholarly services and databases, including DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed Central. Inclusion is subject to the independent evaluation, selection criteria, and continuing coverage policies of each respective organization. IRASS Publisher does not guarantee acceptance or indexing by any third-party service.
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)
IRASS Publisher uses persistent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to facilitate the identification, citation, linking, and discoverability of published scholarly works.
For current and future publications, IRASS Publisher registers article-level DOIs through Crossref using its registered DOI prefix, where applicable.
Previously published articles that were assigned DOIs through an earlier DOI registration platform retain their original DOI identifiers. Such existing identifiers are not replaced solely because IRASS Publisher has subsequently adopted Crossref for current and future DOI registration.
Each article's DOI is displayed with its official publication record and is intended to provide a persistent link to the corresponding version of record.
IRASS Publisher is committed to maintaining accurate DOI metadata and associated article information in accordance with the requirements of the applicable DOI registration service.
16. Compliance with Scholarly Publishing Standards
IRASS Publisher periodically reviews its Open Access and publishing practices with reference to recognized principles and developments in scholarly communication, research integrity, Open Access publishing, licensing, peer review, metadata management, and digital preservation.
Where relevant, IRASS may consider guidance, recommendations, and best-practice principles developed by recognized scholarly publishing organizations and infrastructure providers, including:
• Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)
• Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
• Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA)
• Crossref
• Other recognized scholarly publishing and research infrastructure organizations
IRASS may also consider relevant criteria and publishing requirements established by recognized abstracting and indexing services when preparing eligible journals for independent evaluation.
Reference to any organization, guideline, principle, or evaluation framework does not constitute endorsement, accreditation, certification, membership, partnership, affiliation, or indexing by that organization or service unless such status has been formally confirmed by the organization concerned.
17. Policy Review
This Open Access Policy is reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains consistent with developments in Open Access publishing, scholarly communication, research integrity, licensing, accessibility, digital preservation, and relevant publishing standards.
IRASS may update this policy when necessary.
Any material revision will be published through the official IRASS Publisher website.
The version currently published on the official website represents the applicable Open Access Policy.
